Acoustic Challenges at Chatham House
Chatham House encountered significant challenges with sound management in their meeting rooms, which impacted the clarity and privacy of their conversations. This made it difficult for participants to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality. In response to these issues, they approached us to develop and implement a tailored acoustic solution that would address these concerns.
Solution Development
This project included a comprehensive one-package acoustic solution, which involved the design, manufacture, and installation of our Executive™ acoustic panels, tailored specifically to their space. Our Executive™ panels consist of three layers and an aluminium frame, and are finished with premium textiles from our collection. We also incorporated recessed linear slot lighting between each fabric panel to achieve a polished appearance.
Implementation and Custom Installation
In managing the Chatham House project in-house, we utilised technical and 3D drawings to ensure accuracy in the installation of our acoustic solutions. These drawings allowed us to precisely align and integrate fixings, supports, brackets, and additional components to meet the specific requirements of the meeting rooms. This approach enabled an efficient installation, ensuring all elements of the acoustic panel system functioned effectively within the existing architectural framework.
